Promoting Growth and Advancement of Related Industries

The Association aims to foster the development of nano-convergence–related industries by gathering and addressing shared challenges among its members, promoting joint projects, accelerating new technology development, and encouraging mutual exchange. Through these efforts, the Association seeks to advance the nano-convergence industry, enhance shared benefits among members, and ultimately contribute to the growth of the national economy.

  • 2025

    • Established the Korea Nano Convergence Industry Association (approved by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy)
  • 2024

    • Implemented the Advanced Nanomaterials Strategy Development and Performance Dissemination Support Program
  • 2023

    • Hosted the 10th Nano Convergence Industry Technology Professionals Climbing Event
  • 2022

    • Hosted the 20th International Nanotechnology Symposium and Exhibition
    • Inauguration of the 3rd President, Soon-guk Hong
  • 2018

    • Inauguration of the 2nd President, Chil-hee jung
  • 2017

    • Opened the Daejeon T+2B Center and the second permanent demonstration hall
  • 2016

    • Published the 15-year history of the Nano Convergence Industry Research Cooperative
  • 2014

    • Launched the “T+2B-based Nano Convergence R&BD Promotion Program” (Phase 2 of the T+2B Project)
  • 2012

    • Held the Nano Convergence 2012 Conference and Nano Convergence T2B Forum
  • 2011

    • Relocated to Gwanggyo Techno Valley, Suwon (Institute for Advanced Convergence Technology)  
    • Designated as a Nano Convergence T+2B Center and opened the permanent T+2B Demonstration Hall
    • Celebrated the 10th anniversary of establishment
  • 2009

    • Organization renamed to Nano Convergence Industry Research Cooperative
  • 2007

    • Selected as a Nano-based Strategic Technology Support Group under the Ministry of Knowledge Economy’s 15 Strategic Technology Development Programs
  • 2003

    • Hosted the 1st International Nanotechnology Symposium and Exhibition (NANOKOREA 2003)
  • 2001

    • Inaugural General Assembly held / Inauguration of the 1st President, Hee-Guk Lee
